The Y function: a new method in phase equilibrium calculations

摘要

A new method in describing the equilibrium behaviour of a multicomponent system, originated in an earlier approach based on geometric programming is proposed. The new function, called the Y function, exhibits An array of intersting mathematical properties, proving a useful tool in some cases of non-trivial LLE behaviour.
