Excess molar volumes, enthalpies and heat capacities were obtained employing a calculation model based on a general cubic equation of state (GEOS). The effects of the simple composition-dependent combining rule (conventional two-binary-parameter form) in a general cubic equation of state on excess functions are examined To illustrate the capability of the proposed model, V~E, H~E, C_P~E data of thirty-one binary systems were chosen.
