Extraction of Flavonoides from Natural Products

摘要

Silymarin is obtained in industry by extraction - sometimes preceeded by partially defatting, removal of the extraction solvent and purifying the obtained residues.The solvents normally used for extraction are polar solvents, as dimcthylketonc, ethyl acetate, mcthanol. The present paper presents a comparative study of silymarin extraction possibilities from powdered Silybum marianum with solvents having different polarities, using the same technology and propose a physical and a mathematical model of the process.
