Optimal Retrofit of Multipurpose Plants

摘要

The obtaining of several prodncts within the framework of the same plant is economically justified when the quantities are reduced and the technologies are similar. such sitnation being rather frequent in the medium and fine organie synthesis industry i.e. dyers. drugs. cosmetics etc. The retrofit of the existing multipurpose plants is a usual task imposing by a) the change of the assortment and or quantities of products due to the corresponding evolution of the market: b) the change of codes and regulalions: c) the dentands of improvement of technical and economical paramelers. In this work is exposed a nonhnear programming procedure used for optimal retrofit of multipurpose plants in the sitnations generated by modification of the products amount demanded by the market.
