@@To the deficiency of single pulse laser drilling, this paper describes a new multi-pulse laser wave on the basic of theoretical analysis. Using the new manner, the hole with the diameter less than lmm is obtained in lmm-thick steel. Through the comparisons and analyses of drilling results which were effected by waveforms of single pulse laser and multi-pulse laser, it could be known that the quality of drilling results generated by waveform of three-pulse laser was superior to those of single pulse laser. And we found that the optimum pulse width was 100 μm and the best pulse interval was 100μs.
