Asphaltene Deposition and Redissolution Studies

摘要

Asphaltene deposition is a complex process that likely involves several steps including the molecular association of the asphaltenes, precipitation, particle growth, aggregation, and adhesion. Experimental approaches and results on the molecular association, precipitation, and redissolution of asphaltenes are reviewed. Preliminary observations and experimental approaches for asphaltene particle growth and aggregation are discussed.
