Along with the rapid development of wireless and broadband technology, users can access to networks by various means. As a mobile operator, KDDI is looking at the realization of seamless expansion and development of network infrastructure based upon a cellular access, with the collaboration of fixed and/or WLAN access.On the network and access infrastructure, it is our desire to build up flexible service platforms in which content providers and end users can provide and receive various services in a most desirable way. We are looking at providing an opportunity where such many players can play an active part We call this paradigm as a ubiquitous information society.
