REFLECTANCE COMPARISON BETWEEN SCIAMACHY AND MERIS

In this work we present a comparison of the currentrnSCIAMACHY and MERIS reflectance calibrations atrnwavelengths between 442 and 885 nm. For that purposernwe, firstly, locate all the SCIAMACHY pixels withinrna given MERIS image and, secondly, we calculate thernmedian and standard deviation of all the MERIS pixelsrn(≈1000) within each SCIAMACHY pixel. Resultsrnshow that SCIAMACHY underestimates the reflectancernby 13% at 442 nm reaching up to 21% at 885 nm as comparedrnto MERIS.
