Strengthening the institutional innovation is an important basis for the guarantee of low-carbon innovation and the transitional development of the low-carbon economy. The main institutional obstacles of the low-carbon technology innovation in China in elude the foulty innovation policy, the unsound management mechanism, the lack of market solutions, and the unperfect intellectual property system. To strengthen the institutional innovation of the low-carbon technology, we should improve the institutional system of the low carbon innovation, from finance, tax, industry and other aspects to strengthen the policy innovation, and use the market mechanism to encourage the private investment in low-carbon technology.
