Sound Design is a new programme from Acoustics Central intended to handle all general acoustics assessments carried out by acoustics consultants. It has three primary remits: to increase productivity, increase company-wide consistency, and increase quality assurance. For example, Sound Design allows users to: 1. store all data (e.g. noise levels, SRIs, absorption coefficients, lookup tables, etc.) in one file to be instantly available when creating new assessments 2. carry out all of assessments within one file and assessment environment (e.g. room acoustics, noise transfer, noise break-in/out) to save on entering the same data in multiple locations 3. produce all schedules of data and calculation sheets with a couple of mouse clicks .
