ElectriFly's New WW I ARFs

One of the fringe benefits of this job is sometimes being able to see new products before they are on sale. I first spied the new ElectriFly SE5a Park Flyer ARF at the AMA Scale National Championships. I bumped into Hobbico reps Dave Johnson and Greg Hahn as they were showing off a parir of the new electric-powered WW I Scouts. Dave gave me the transmitter, and I instantly fell in love with the little British biplane. After the flight, I asked Dave whether there would' be a companion for the SE5a, and he told me that a Fokker D-VII was on the way. What a classic matchup! I convinced Dave to send us the two prototype models lor a first look, and here's what we found in the boxes.
