Back in September 1979, Model Airplane News published John R. Walker's tiny free-flight model of a popular British homebuilt aircraft called the "Ord-Hume." The CO_2-powered model had an 18-inch wingspan and 55 square inches of wing area. I saved a copy of this article and the plan for more than 25 years in the hope that an opportunity would arise to build an RC electric-powered version.
