How do you select a servo of the correct type and size for a particular aircraft from all the servos on the market? How do you apply servo specifications to your aircraft Today, we probably have more than 100 types and sizes of RC servos to suit just about every application from micro indoor models up to 1/3-scale, 50-pound aircraft (and even larger). Even after narrowing your search to servos that are usually used by park flyers, you still have a wjde choice. To help me answer this question I selected a series of Hitec RCD servos that I had handy. Please keep in mind that the data presented also applies to other brands of RC servo.
