Manufactured and designed by Socata in the late '70s, the full-size TB series aircraft are light, low-wing single-engine aircraft, and most had variable-pitch props; they were the first European aircraft in their class to have them. The letters "TB" represent the town of Tarbes in the south of France where they were manufactured. The TB series was discontinued in 2006, but is still available for RC flying with this model from Hobby Lobby.
