Concrete is the most utilised human-made construction material on the planet - used twice as much as all other construction materials combined, thanks to its durability and cost-effectiveness. Nevertheless, as with all materials, concrete has its inherent limitations. One of the realities of concrete is that it will crack. Although concrete cracking can be controlled to certain areas, or limited, it can never be completely eradicated. Even when using crack-controlling innovations, cracking will not be eliminated completely, nor will it mitigate against later age cracking.
