Glasgow Academy work begins

Dunne Group has commenced works on-site at Glasgow Academy's new £8.5million Science and Technology wing at its Kelvinbridge campus on Colebrooke Street in the west end of the city. The new facility is to be built upon the site of recently demolished tenements which were suffering from serious subsidence, caused by mineworkings dating back to the late 18th/early 19th Century.
