摘要

Capita Bobrowski, the civil and structural engineering practice, has made major progress in its redevelopment of the Grandstand at Epsom Downs Racecourse. The frame of the new Grandstand is now in place, along with most of the steppings and the first lift shaft. The steppings currently under construction will be able to accommodate 4300 spectators. When completed, the new Grandstand will have a capacity of 11,000 in a contemporary design featuring the 960m~2 Oaks Hall suitable for conferences, exhibitions and other corporate events.
