摘要

Most of the schools in Brazil have currently small schoolyards, generally cemented andunattractive. This proposal aimed to present, discuss and create alternatives that promoteinterdisciplinary interactions between environment, art, aesthetics and culture as tools to raisesensibility of Environmental Education, through the reconstruction of the schoolyard. The studywas conducted at the school EMEF Maria Ruth Raymundo, Sapiranga/RS. The activities wereconducted in eight stages between april and may of 2010. The results of this proposal have beenpositive, since they fostered discussion, reflection and action on environmental issues. It was?evident the participation of art in awareness of environmental issues, fleeing the fatalistic andthreatening language so commonly addressed in this subject.
