The work on the Pedagogical Practices and the Development of Environmental Responsibility in the Community School of the State Institute Professor. nd NENA - CIEP Sapiranga - RS. Initially we carried out a study to diagnose the key social and environmental problems, there have been awareness activities at school, community and environmentally sustainable practices. To complete an evaluation took place in the depositions of willing participants in the actions of the study. The study aims to raise awareness in the community, identify perceptions about environmental responsibility, develop initiatives for guidance on sustainable actions. Justified by the necessity of environmental awareness in view of environmental problems facing the school community. Participated in this study, managers, educators, students and school community members of the State Institute Professor. NENA - CIEP. The method used was qualitative work with descriptions and interpretations. The instrument used was a theoretical study and analysis of statements from the participants, based on the literature on the subject. The study results show that there is still not an?environmental awareness and responsibility, which contributes to the worsening of environmental problems in the socio-environmental context.
