A crystal soda-lime wineglass,heated to temperaturesranging from 25°C to 150°C, was tappedand the frequency recorded.It was shownthat the relative change in the frequencyat different temperaturescan be used to determine the effect of temperature onYoung’s Modulusof the glass. This simple method of tapping a wineglassis proposed as an effective way of determining the relative effect of temperature on Young’ Modulusof glass.
