INVESTIGATION OF THE SIZES OF PLASTIC ZONES AT THE ENDS OF A CRACK IN AN ORTHOTROPIC SHELL WITH REGARD FOR THE HARDENING OF THE MATERIAL

We formulate and solve the problem of the stressed state of an orthotropic shell with hardening that contains a through crack. An analysis of the influence of loading, hardening, and other characteristics of the shell on the size of plastic zones within the framework of the δ_C-model is presented.
