The State of the Polish Defence Industry

In 2016, Poland's defence budget totals about PLN35.9 billion (U$9 billion), of which about PLN9.37 billion is to be spent on a military modernisation and procurement programme. One of the main factors driving Poland's desire to acquire new hardware as soon as possible is Russia's intervention in the Eastern Ukraine. MT looks at Poland's future acquisitions.
