The South African Defence Review 2014 priority relates to directing the development of the Defence Industry Strategy and the Technology Agenda and Innovation Plans in support of the defence development programme, as well as the integration of the defence industry into the mainstream Industrial Policy Action Plan (IPAP). The following evolving sub-components will enable the execution of this Ministerial Priority, as well as the establishment of a focused and aligned defence industry, the establishment of a stabilising and coordinating capability, and technology strategies and programmes with the defence industry.
