Aromatic amines are some of the most important organic molecules in applications ranging from medicine to materials. Roughly 20-25% of the top 100 pharmaceuticals contain a bond between an aromatic ring and a nitrogen atom, and some of the most prominent conductive materials and organic-based electronic devices have arylamines as key components (Figure 1). Thus, methods to prepare such molecules have been sought for many years.
