Since early 2020, the Polish government has taken a series of measures to control the spread of the coronavirus (covid-19) pandemic. After introducing drastic containment measures over 2020, restrictions were relaxed and reimposed intermittently during 2021. As of end-January 2022, around 57% of Poland's total population had received a full course of vaccination against the coronavirus, and around 27% had received a booster shot.
