The Economist Intelligence Unit estimates that merchandise exports (free on board-fob) from Poland stood at US$263.8bn in 2019, up from US$256.obn in 2018. Merchandise imports (fob) amounted to US$262.9bn in 2019 to yield a trade surplus of US$967m, compared with imports of US$261.7bn in 2018 and a US$5.6bn deficit. The services balance remained in surplus at US$25.8bn in 2019, compared with a US$25.6bn surplus in 2018.
