Utilizing fiber coupler loop-connecting method, we have generated8x2.5 Gb/s (20Gb/ s) optical time division multiplexing signal. Atthe same time, we tuned both the center wavelength and the linearchirp of a 12 cm uniform fiber grating with a cantilever beammechanical tuning device, and used the chirped grating for dispersioncompensation 20 Gb/s transmission over 100 km of standard sin- glemode fiber. Our experiment shows a favorable dispersion compensationeffect.
