An effective DOA method via virtual array transformation

摘要

A new DOA estimation method is presented for the virtual arraytransformation and the im- proved spatial smoothing algorithm. Thenew method not only overcomes the weakness of the ambigui- ty of DOAestimation of arbitrary array, but also improves the abilities ofresolution and de-correlation. It is proven to be effective bytheoretical analyses and computer simulations. What is more, theMethod can improve the estimation and resolution of DOA under thecondition of sparse practical array.
