For discrete-time nonlinear stochasti systems with unknownnonparameteris structure, a kernel estimation-based nonparametericadaptive controller is constructed based on truncated certaintyequivalence principle. Global stability and asymptotic optimality ofthe closed-loop sytems are estab- lished without resorting to anyexternal excitations.
