The existence, uniqueness, globally exponential stability andspeed of exponential con- vergence for class of cellular neuralnetworks are investigated. The existence of a unique equilibrium isproved under very concise conditions, and theorems for estimating theglobal convergence speed approaching the equilibrium and criteria forits globally exponential stability are derived, Considering synapsetime delay, by constructing appropriate Lyapunov functional, theexistence of a unique equilib- rium and its global stability for thedelayed network are also proved. The results. Which do not requirethe cloning template to be symmetric, are easy to use in networkdesign.
