1.The recommended precast reinforced-concrete revetment with a comparatively small thickness permits passing over the top of an earth slope large specific discharges with considerable velocities.2.A decrease in thickness and increase in stability of V-shaped elements are achieved by surcharging the revetment by a normal centrifugal force occurring on the upper surface of the slabs due to the conditions of the flow past them.3.The revetment has a favorable industrial character for manufacture and assembly; if necessary it can be dismantled easily and reused.4.The wide introduction of the proposed revetment in hydraulic construction can save millions of rubles on temporary and permanent spillway structures of hydrodevelopments.
