Earthquake prediction by means of measuring systems of high dams

摘要

1.High dams with their developed measuring systems can serve as geophysical test areas for developing routine earthquake prediction methods.2.For reaching prediction goals it is necessary: to perform a retrospective analysis of the results of on-site observations on dams for isolating the groups of detectors most sensitive to seismic effects; to organize continuous automated observations by the isolated group of measuring instruments with the accumulation of a data bank.3.It is necessary to establish a reliable communication between dams and the nearest seismometric stations of the state seismometric network.
