History of Constructivism in the Twentieth Century

The history of constructivism is surveyed with more space devoted to earlydevelopment (up to circa 1965) than to work of the last few decades because of the latter's technical and complicated nature. Subjects discussed include finitism, predicatism and semi intuitionism, Brouwerian intuitionism, logic and arithmetic, intuitionistic analysis and stronger theories, constructive recursive mathematics, and Bishop's constructivism.
