process of obtaining exfoliating material from guava agro-industrial waste and its use for the production of cosmetics. the present invention describes a process for obtaining an exfoliating material (m) obtained from guava seeds, an abundant environmental residue rich in antioxidants and nutrients that promote beneficial effects to the skin, when associated with cosmetics. in addition to these effects, the exfoliating material (m) still promotes a new application to the waste, which starts to have less impact on the environment. for this, the exfoliating material (m) is obtained from the processing of guava seeds, through a process with simple execution steps, such as drying (e1); crushing (e2); sifting (e3); sanitization (e4); drying (e5) and grinding (e6). in this way, the exfoliating material (m) described helps to meet the demand for natural and ecologically correct cosmetics, as it is used in the production of these products as an active agent, and enables a better destination for an input until then considered agro-industrial waste.
