PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material which has higher NO production promoting activity, has no fear of side effects even if continuously taken in, and can be expected of a male function improving effect.;SOLUTION: As active ingredients of an NO production-promoting composition, (1) an egg white hydrolyzate obtained by decomposing the egg white with the use of a protease derived from genus Aspergillus and/or a protease derived from genus Bacillus and (2) at least one substance selected from a zinc compound, Lepidium meyenii Walp, and Acanthopanax senticosus Harms are incorporated. The NO production promoting composition preferably contains, 100 pts.mass egg white hydrolyzate, 0.1-10 pts.mass zinc compound and/or 50-100 pts.mass Lepidium meyenii Walp and/or 50-100 pts.mass Acanthopanax senticosus Harms.
