PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate natural stone stacking construction and to construct a stable and strong civil engineering work structure even with such natural stone stacking construction.;SOLUTION: The construction stone 1 for the civil engineering work structure is prepared in the state of a base end part 4a of a bar member 4 being integrated with the natural stone 2 and a tip part 4b of the bar member 4 being provided with a curl part 15 serving as a frictional force increasing means. Using a plurality of such construction stones 1 for the civil engineering work structure, the respective natural stones 2 are stacked in order, and the respective bar members 4 are arranged almost parallel.
