A tube holds a quantity of paste or gel and has an outlet with a closure for use as a dispenser. The tube (1.1) is stored inverted to promote collection of the viscous contents near the outlet and facilitate easy discharge. The tube end adjacent to the head is especially surrounded by a conical collar which acts as a supporting stand.
