AUTOMATIC ILLUMINATING DIRECTION CONTROL MECHANISM OF AUTOMOBILE HEADLIGHT

PURPOSE: To prevent any nonconformity from being caused by linkage by reforming an automatic control mechanism which tilts a headlight left and right by interlocking with the steering of a car steering device (for example, no dazzle is given to a passerby and a passer car at the time of backward movements for garaging and/or parking in file). ;CONSTITUTION: A steering angle sensor 9 detects a steering wheel operating state, while a control circuit 21 is linked up with the operating state, controlling two driving units 2 and 4 of both symmetrical lamps, and both these symmetrical lamps 1 and 6 are tilted left and right. Being prior to the abovementioned control function, in the case where a fact that a car is in backward movements is detected by a forward-backward judging means 41, both symmetrical lamp units are turned on the frontage, stopping their tilting motions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
