Powder metallurgically produced material for electrical contacts consists of Ag, 2-7 wt.% graphite and 0.5-50 wt.% one or more non-precious metal to increase strength. The particle size of the non-precious metal is max. 5 x 10 power -10 mm3 and it is uniformly dispersed in the material.
