摘要

An experimental device is presented for real time video records of long fibre undulation mechanism occurring during the cure of thermosetting systems. Video records allow fibre instability detection during the cure. Sensibility of heating rate and mass effect are analysed for T300 carbon fibre into an LY556 epoxy resin. Aims of the study are through real time waviness monitoring a better comprehension of undulation appearance and a quantitative data setup for fibre undulation description.
