RUBBER FORMING OF THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITE PARTS FOR THE EAGLET RUDDER

摘要

The purpose of this paper is to give practical information on the rubber forming of thermoplastic composite parts for a movable. This includes technical details of the production of rubber moulds, things that should be taken into account during the design phase of tooling and at last, the equipment needed to produce the parts. The production of a monolithic thermoplastic movable was a new challenge in the development of these materials and their applications. The feasibility of the production of large structural aircraft components of carbon-reinforced thermoplastics in the future will be shown. In this perspective, the press forming of large structural parts is also discussed.
